Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Snow and Emergency Closings
Library administrators will evaluate whether to open late or close early on a day-to-day basis. In the event of inclement weather, please call us at (203) 272-2245 for the latest information.
If the Library is open and there is plowable snow or ice in the parking lot, please do not park behind the church or alongside the church until the area can be plowed. Please park in the library parking lot’s middle spaces or spaces alongside the cemetary.

FROM THE SOUTH
Route 95 to Route 91 North at New Haven
Exit 10, "Route 40"
Route 40 will end at its junction with Route 10.
Turn right (north) on Rt. 10 and travel approximately 6 miles to
the center of Cheshire.
Turn left at Rt. 68/70 (traffic light).
The library is the third building on your right.
OR
Merritt-Wilbur Cross Parkway/Route 15 North
Exit 61, "Whitney Avenue"
Turn right onto Route 10, north to Cheshire.
Travel approximately 8.5 miles to the center of Cheshire.
Turn left at Rt. 68/70 (traffic light).
The library is the third building on your right.
FROM THE WEST
Interstate 84 East
Exit 26, "Route 70, Cheshire"
Turn right at end of the ramp onto Route 70 (West Main Street).
Continue for 2.5 miles to a light and junction with Route 68.
Continue on Route 68/70 for another 2.5 miles to a light at Getty Station.
Turn right.
Library is on the left, past the shopping strip and the Baptist Church.
FROM THE NORTH
Route 91 South
Exit 18, "691 West"
Route 691 west to Exit 3, "Route 10, South"
Turn left at end of ramp onto Route 10, South.
Travel approximately 4 miles to a light at Route 68/70.
Turn right.
The library is the third building on your right.

Interstate 84, West
Exit 27, "Route 691"
Route 691 East to Exit 3
Turn right at end of ramp onto Route 10, South.
